Arrival
Our check-in time is 4pm to allow for extra cleaning.
Our team will maintain a safe distance between you & them at all times and we politely ask you to do the same.
Your room key will be sanitised before your arrival and handed to you in a sealed protection.
We have taken extra precaution in cleaning your room. Each room is deep cleaned and fully ventilated between bookings (tv remotes sanitised and bagged for your protection).
We provide electronic balance payments to ensure a smooth check-out process and minimise the need for contact at reception.
Please make use of the hand sanitisers provided for you at the entry/exit point.
Guest temperature checks may be performed on arrival.
We ask that you
If you need to cancel or amend your reservation due to COVID-19, we can transfer your booking to another suitable date.
Any cancellations or amendments within 14 days prior to your arrival that are not as a direct result of government restrictions will result in our retaining all or part of your payment. (Please check terms and conditions).
If we are forced to close the Guest house due to government restrictions, bookings can be transferred or cancelled at no charge.
Your Art Lounge experience
Masks are voluntarily worn in public areas of the Art Lounge, these are not required when seated at a dining table or in the privacy of your own rooms.
Social distancing measures will be in place in all common areas throughout the Art Lounge
Enhanced cleaning methods have been implemented in all public areas, including frequent disinfection of high touch areas.
Linen and towels are all professionally washed at high temperature.
Hand sanitising stations will be provided at the entrance and exits and in the principal public areas. We encourage you to use these liberally.
We would recommend that you use your personal guestroom bathroom facilities rather than the house WC.
Rooms will be made up on request during your stay, please say if you prefer not to have housekeeping during your stay by using the do not disturb door tags provided.
Please let us know if you have any concerns. This is a new situation for us all and we want to make your stay with us the most comfortable, relaxing and safe as it can be, so we are happy to hear all and any feedback.
Your dining experience
We have adequate personal space in our dining room with generous space between occupied tables.
Breakfast will be served at guests’ tables in two sittings, to further increase social distancing and diner safety. At 7.30am and 8.30am midweek (8.00am and 9.00am weekends), please book your preference on arrival.
Emergency procedures
If, prior to arrival, you have any COVID-19 symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, or loss of taste and smell, we ask that you contact us before leaving home, so that we can reschedule your stay free of charge.
It is important to note that for the safety of our other guests and team, any guest staying with us that displays symptoms consistent with COVID-19 will be asked to seek medical attention. Should you be advised to self-isolate, we will request that you check out immediately and return home. For the safety of other guests, we cannot accommodate self-Isolation.
OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU, all members of staff will:
- Not attend work when unwell
- Have temperature check at the start of every day.
- Practice good personal hygiene, including regular handwashing
- Maintain social distance
- Follow the Art Lounge COVID-19 secure operating procedure
- React in a timely fashion to changes in Govt. advice
